Today we rafted our first 8 miles! This river is beautiful and the canyons are like nothing I have ever seen before. I rafted the whole 8 miles and fell out in flat water! It was pretty funny.I was leaning out on a back paddle yelling "get some" and I fell out in slow motion. This eperience later on gave me my river name, Buoy. Our camp tonight is a nice sandy beach with sage bushes to set up camp in.
